Gentleman Scholar's First Fountain Pen Offering in 2022
Following seven long years in private research and development, Gentleman Scholar held its inaugural product launch following a characteristically understated announcement by the house's founder and lead designer.
The writing instrument, named 'Eximia' is the first fountain pen offering by Gentleman Scholar, amassing rapid uptake by the house's long awaiting customers and profoundly rooted community enamoured by the brand's embrace of the exceptional.
Nib & Tines
The fountain pen features a soft German-made iridium point nib, in poignant honour of the founder's German heritage. The nib body and tines are formed of pristine stainless steel embellished by a traditional British flourish engraving.
Grip & Ink
The grip body of the fountain is of precious black resin, supplied by either a converter or cartridge ink (both supplied with pen purchase).
Chassis & Form
The fountain pen's body is beautifully constructed of fine hand-turned brass, finished in a sandblasted dark chrome plating said to be the new signature of the Gentleman Scholar fountain collection.
Both cap and body meet seamlessly at the moulded brass cuff, hand-cast in brass and finished in dark chrome plating.
Compatible Fountain Pen Inks
The Eximia Fountain Pen is compatible with official Gentleman Scholar Inks, such as the INKOGNITO® Black Ink 2022 Vintage, available from the GNTLMNSCHLR.com online store.
